At Prescience Technology, we are committed to delivering premium quality Engineering and Oracle services and resource capability.  We are also committed to delivering them in a manner that is as friendly to our great green world as possible. 

We do all of the standard recycling things - we recycle our paper and print cartridges, we use energy efficient light bulbs and energy saving technologies wherever we can.  We don't actively hug trees , but we do support those who are replanting and regenerating our Australian forest areas and we have recently adopted a small part of the World Heritage Daintree rainforest area, so that it remains a strong and vibrant part of our Australian culture, environment and lives for decades to come.

The Australian Rainforest Foundation (www.arf.net.au) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to education, research and habitat rehabilitation for Australia's tropical rainforests.  The Adopt-a-Square program has been designed to enable ARF to purchase vital land for conservation and ensure the rainforest receives hands-on attention from local people. 

Prescience Technology is a proud supporter of ARF and a regular participant in the Adopt-a-Square program.

Supporting Aussie Kids

In addition to our unwavering commitment to greening this amazing world we live in, Prescience Technology is also passionate about upholding what we regard to be our citizenship obligations to society - giving a little back to make it a better place for all of us.

We have chosen to support an amazing charity called ACT for Kids. 

ACT for Kids is a not-for-profit organisation which gives direct parenting support to over 1,200 families through their network of ACT for Kids family centres.  They work with parents, governments, businesses, communities - and of course, children themselves - to give kids the safe and happy childhood they deserve.

ACT for Kids is different from most other agencies of their type because they tackle both the causes and effects of child abuse. They go to schools to teach kids how to stay safe, and they speak up for kids through informational and social change campaigns. ACT for Kids also run one-on-one counselling services for kids and families who are already suffering abuse-related trauma.

Formerly known as the Abused Child Trust, ACT for Kids celebrated its 21st year of helping families keep kids safe in 2009.  Check them out for yourself at www.abusedchildtrust.com.au.
